BASI Heating has served the community for many years, providing the very best in central heating installation, repairs and maintenance.
Spending so much time in the homes and businesses of Yorkshire, we have been lucky enough to meet some wonderful people and hear some truly inspiring stories.
That’s why, we take time out to give something back to the community through a number of initiatives.
For many young people, finding work is difficult. We believe in training the engineers of the future, which is why we run an active apprenticeship programme through Bradford’s City College. New recruits learn their trade from one of our skilled mentors whilst still enjoying one day per week at college.
Training young installers in this way means we can promote best practice across fitting, customer service and business ethics. Learning from a BASI engineer means that when they are ready for the world of work, they will be an ideal candidate for us to recruit full-time.
Local authority collaboration
After a rigorous selection process, BASI has been appointed to service and maintain the gas appliances in all council run properties for Bradford City Council. The panel were particularly impressed with BASI’s encouragement of diversity within the workforce, overarching professional business ethics and long-standing history.
We donate to various charities throughout the year which equates to a substantial annual contribution to what we believe to be extremely worthwhile causes.
In addition to these donations, we also play charity football games with each one raising an additional four figure sum for charity.
Albion Sports and Albion Juniors
BASI is the main sponsor for Yorkshire based semi-professional football club Albion Sports and Albion Juniors. This organisation coaches around 100 local children and is home to some future potential sporting talent.
Doing our bit for the environment
Calculations show that BASI’s annual boiler installations save more than 3000 tonnes of carbon per year. We are proud of our green credentials and participate in waste disposal initiatives for the correct refuse of cardboard and plastic packaging.
Furthermore, we practice what we preach and have installed a number of renewable technologies at our HQ, including solar PV panels which harnesses the suns energy to produce electricity, solar thermal converting solar energy into hot water and a Biomass boiler to provide readily available heating.
