Cold shower anyone?

The-7-Amazing-Health-Benefits-of-Cold-Shower-Reasons-Why-You-Should-Take-More-Cold-Showers

There is nothing worse than having no hot water when you’re in desperate need of a shower or a long hot bath to soothe those aches and pains after a particularly long day.

Sometimes it’s a simple fix, other times you might need to call in the experts. But before you panic and give us a call, why not try these 5 simple checks below to try to rectify the problem and get yourself in that shower?

  1. Check the power

It might sound obvious, but first of all make sure the power supply is on and that the fuse hasn’t blown. If you find the fuse has blown, it might be a sign of a potentially more serious issue and is worth contacting an engineer to take a look for you.

  1. Check the supply

Make sure that the gas supply is turned on. If you think there might be a problem with the supply contact your gas supplier right away. If you use oil then make sure there’s oil in the tank by checking the gauge.

  1. Check the programmer

Make sure the programmer is in the on position and the thermostat is turned up high enough.

  1. Check the pump

Check that the pump is working effectively. If it appears like it’s not working correctly, call a professional to fix the fault.

  1. Check the pilot light

Take a look at the pilot light. If it’s turned off you’ll need to consult the manufacturer’s manual for details on how to relight.

So, you’ve checked all of the above and still can’t find the problem? Simply call our engineers on 0800 980 6018 or request a call back by filling in the contact form.
